Ms Li was super hospitable! We soon realized that we came from sunny Singapore and the family chatted comfortably. The place is very clean and amenities well planned and detailed. It was snowing heavily and the house had more than adequate heaters to keep us warm and comfy. Photos shown and description are exactly what you will get.

Wonderful place. Would recommend to solo-travelers, families or groups of friends. Location is within walking distance to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. The owner Satoshi-san and all staff are extremely kind and helpful. Provided a free shuttle to the station when returning home. Excellent prices of rental gear, much lower than the ski resorts. Great gear as well. Absolutely perfect.

Host was really nice and helpful in explaining rules and how to use the property, such as how we can heat the baths and what we can or cannot use in the property. Host is Japanese speaking only but it was not a problem for us. The property was really clean with big spaces to relax, and our group of 7 enjoyed our stay very much. We can’t wait to return the next time we are in the area!

Owners were as kind as they come. We speak some Japanese and they speak some English which made it a very comfortable combination. We loved our first stay at Mistral so much we changed our following weekend plans to come back. Location is impossible to beat if you want to ski Ishiuchi. Literally at the base of Sunrise lift. Rentals available on property, storage, drying room, and delicious meals if you book in advance. Futons and room were very cozy and bath room was excellent. Next door and walking distance to several restaurants. My husband and I were able to eat dinner and watch our kids night ski.
