The host prepared hot vegetable soup and fresh bread for us on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The view from the balcony was stunning. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. A perfect base for exploring Queenstown!

Our stay at Stoneridge was little short of ideal! The grounds were simply stunning - you take a steep drive up to the resort, passing by vineyards and rose bushes. The buildings have a historic stone and wrought-iron look and truly feel like they have been there for centuries. Walk around the grounds and you might also see the very cute, peaceful chapel. The rooms were, again, stunning, with beautiful views over Lake Hayes. They were spacious and thoughtfully furnished, including the bathrooms which had his and hers sinks. On checking in, we were greeted by their very friendly staff who offered us two glasses of rose and a lovely cheese board. In short, we loved it here - it felt like pure luxury!

The Spire Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel located in the heart of Queenstown. Just 2 minutes' walk from the shores of Lake Wakatipu, it offers rooms with free WiFi, a balcony and a gas fireplace.

The room was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, bathroom was very large and included a spa bath. The views from our room were incredible. Waking up to a view of the Remarkable Mountains and the Lake each morning and evening was memorable.

The Canyons B&B offers a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 2.9 miles of Skyline Gondola and Luge and 7 miles of Queenstown Event Centre.
