The play area outside and activities were so good for the kids and the views from the lodge are just very special. You won't regret going up and staying virtually on your own. Service by the staff were super nice and friendly and the place is first class.

In Sarnen, 2 km from the Sarnensee Lake, the self-catered Apartments Chalet Wirz Travel offers an air-conditioned apartment with free WiFi and free private parking on site. Great apartment, super helpful hosts, all thoughtfully and kindly set up (they left us a breakfast as it was a public holiday for example). Lovely stay, would highly recommend.

Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.
