Bike hire and car hire are available at the apartment and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. Ylläs Chalet 8208 has a children's playground and a picnic area. Apartment was very nice, cozy, warm, well equiped and close to Yllas sport activities. It was perfect for our family. In real life apartment looked better then in pictures. Kitchen had everything what could imagine and Playstation provided extra entertainmen tor kids. Hope to come back other day.

The location in an enchanting forest in the middle of a winter wonderland and away from the crowds and lights of the nearby town of Akaslompolo (though not too far as to make it a long drive) was excellent for peaceful relaxation and observation of the northern lights. The staff were excellent and made every effort to accommodate to our needs and special requests. The pirate sauna/jacuzzi and ice hole were a delight!

Ski equipment hire and bike hire are available at the apartment and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. Ski storage space is available on-site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of Ylläshuiput. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Sauna was lovely after a long day on the hill. There is a locker downstairs for all ski/snow equipment, as well as a room for waxing and fixing snowboards which was great! being able to do laundry and use the drying cabinet was also very useful. bed were comfortable and we got plenty of good sleep.

The surroundings have many opportunities for outdoor activities, including skiing, cycling and fishing. Ylläs gondola lift is 5 minutes' away, and Kellokas Nature Centre is 2.4 km away. Kittilä Airport is 50 km away. It is cozy and you frel at home wh8lr being super connectrd to town and nature

Offering 5 log cottages by Ylläs Mountain, Tunturioravat is a 5-minute walk from central Äkäslompolo. All cottages have wooden interiors, free Wi-Fi access and a private sauna. Ylläs Ski Resort is 2.7 km away. The cabin exceeded our expectations, we felt very comfortable, warm and cosy (even with -25 outside). It is fully equipped with everything you need, we haven't missed anything in the kitchen. It is also exceptionally clean and well maintained. Location was perfect, with privacy of being nestled in the forest, but within a short walk from village center and all the amenities and facilities. We didn't want to leave.

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully situated by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. Guests have access to the excellent Ylläs ski slopes and a variety of hiking trails through the peaceful Lappish wilderness. We are a mixed couple that traveled all the way from Turku, the cabin was very cozy and warm, close enough to the stores, gas station with a beautiful view towards the ski resort. The breakfast was exceptional!
