The local bus station is 600 metres from Penzion Kaps, while Bled Castle is at a distance of 2 km. Ljubljana Airport and the ski centres at Kranjska Gora, Vogel and Krvavec are all within a 35 km radius. The owner (i think) very nice guy, room very good, short distance from the lake, would stay there again if i be in Bled. Very good breakfast.

Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

Hotel Triglav Bled is located above Bled’s rowing centre. The centre of Bled is 1.5 km away. It can be easily reached on foot by walking on the lakeside trail. Beautiful location. Quite, yet beautiful 20 minutes shoreline walk to Bled. One of the nicest restaurants in the area, with superb fine dining. Breakfast was equally as good. One of the nicest ever hotels I have stayed in. Very recommended
