Everything was great, the service was very delicate, it made us feel very comfortable. This was a fabulous experience.

Cozy and beautifully kept ryokan with a gorgeous outside bath available for private use. This is an especially nice place for a couple. The staff are kind and helpful and they speak English.

Minshuku Miyama provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 3 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 13 km of Ryuoo Ski Park. With an open-air bath, the 2-star ryokan has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a shared bathroom. Guests can use the spa facilities, or enjoy mountain views. Very friendly owners, great Onsen, clean, peaceful and I ate breakfast and dinner here every day and loved it. I had a lovely relaxing stay.

Ryokan Daymaruya is a 15-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park and a 25-minute drive from Shiga Kogen Ski Resort. Heiwa Kannon is a 10-minute walk away. The couple who runs this ryokan is lovely and their inn provides an authentic feel that allows you to appreciate the culture. Their private onsen was our favorite among the town's public onsens. Great experience. Great location. Great people!

Offering a free-use reservable hot-spring bath, shared indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, and traditional multi-course dinners with Shinshu beef, Shibu Hotel is 8 minutes from Yudanaka Train Station on the free shuttle. The traditional rooms have Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. The food was fabulous and delicious, the location was perfect and the hosts were amazing and accommodating.
