Incredible property. Well worth the price! Beautiful rooms, property, and baths. Incredible food. Cannot rave enough about how kind the staff were despite our more limited Japanese. Amazing dining menu included. Well worth it for friends, families and anyone looking to get off the beaten path from Tokyo. The snow mokey park nearby was also an amazing treat!

Ryuoo Ski Park is 12 km from the accommodation, while Suzaka City Zoo is 24 km from the property. Matsumoto Airport is 104 km away. Couldn’t have stayed somewhere nicer.

Ryokan Daymaruya is a 15-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park and a 25-minute drive from Shiga Kogen Ski Resort. Heiwa Kannon is a 10-minute walk away. The owner was super sweet and helpful (driving to the monkey park and the train station). The onsen were great, the private onsen was almost all the time available! A spacious room and the little town felt like a little fairytale (it was snowing when we were there).

The traditional rooms have Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Amazing service, this hotel felt like home. They are the nicest people! Loved the private outdoor onsen.
