We spent a romantic week in Hjelle hotel. Owner was very kind and helpful, the place is simply wonderful, food and serving was exquisite.

If you’re traveling to Voss the Elva is a must do.A lovely modern hotel right next to the Fjord and the spa baths are just great. The rooms and buildings are an architectural master piece beautiful Scandinavia design. We didn’t eat in the restaurant because unfortunately you need to book your meal the day before but for what we could see the food looked great too. All the staff were very accommodating good breakfast too maybe 2 eggs would be good ! Even the breakfast was a piece of art.

This former farmhouse has been carefully restored and converted into a rustic hotel and restaurant. Just 1 km from Voss, modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs feature in each room. This is a beautiful history place family owned. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. A great sense of hospitality.

Overlooking the Lustra Fjord, these seaside cottages include a private terrace, kitchenette and free Wi-Fi access. Urnes Stave Church is 15 km away. Lovely Sjøbuer located directly on the fjord with a great view. Comfortable and cozy. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Vollsnes Feriehus is situated in Hjelle, by Lake Strynevatnet, All accommodation options have a fully equipped kitchen and free WiFi. Some offer lake views. Stryn Ski Centre is 25 km away. Lovely view on the lake, free kayaks and boat, big terrace at water with fire place with as many free wood as we wanted, nice hike nearby, private sauna cabine

The house was perfect in every way—cozy, beautifully maintained, and with the most stunning views over the mountains and lake. Waking up to this scenery felt like a dream. The host Jarle was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly hope to return one day. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this amazing part of Norway!”

Some reviews said that there were no blinds and was missing a hair dryer but when I got there, all windows had blinds/curtains and hair dryer was stored in the bathroom. Overall, it was really pleasant to stay here.

We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.
