Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. Incredible place - a destination in and of itself. Booked and ate there as it was the only place available, but (as advertised) it's the most interesting place you'll ever stay, the food is good (and huge portions) and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful.
