At the bottom of the village, very close to the train station but a bit further away from the big lake.

You can play table tennis at this 4-star hotel, and the area is popular for hiking and skiing. Everything about this place met my expectations! There is plenty parking in the resort so no need to worry where to leave your car during the stay. Train station to Štrbske Pleso is nearby so we almost didn't need to move the car at all. We were very warmly welcomed with glasses of prosecco :) The rooms were very clean and spacious, towels, bathrobes and toiletries were provided. Spa area is clean and we enjoyed using it (pool, kids pool, jacuzzi, 3 saunas, relax area), also massages are available. We had breakfast and dinner included and there were plenty options to choose from for both, especially the dinner was diverse so no fear from getting bored and eating the same every day. I would especially compliment the staff, everyone is very friendly, accommodating, kind and helpful.

Ski equipment hire is offered 100 metres away and the train station is set 200 metres away. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. Spacious, with well equipped kitchen, big bathroom with bath and a balcony. Additionally, beautiful view for the mountains, very good location nearby both the lake and train station made the stay unique and comfortable.

4-star APLEND Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. Its guests can relax at the spa free of charge or enjoy skiing in Štrbské Pleso Ski Park 2 km away. Free WiFi is available in all hotel rooms. The location was great, calm environment, close connected with forest. Excellent restaurant and gourment dinners, very good wellness and nice friendly and willing people work there. Rooms were clean and cosy. I am looking forward to return there for my next visit. 10 out of 10!

Horský Hotel Popradské Pleso is a good starting point to go hiking and take part in guided alpine hikes to Gerlach or Vysoka, as well as join mountain climbing tours in the High Tatras. Best location, beautiful nature, good cuisine, delicious grilled fish, friendly atmosphere, no posh/fancy crowd, the best tourist basecamp, amazing view, superb wellness with hot tub.

The hotel's ski bus departs from the hotel garage -2 at pre-scheduled times upon reservation. It provides good connections to the Park Snow Štrbské Pleso ski resort, located 900 meters away. This service is available during the winter season and can be used free of charge. Fantastic area, professional staff, historical and architectural value of the building , amazing restaurant, great atmosphere

Just 300 metres from the Jakubova lúka Ski Centre, this apartment house can be found 1 km from the centre of Starý Smokovec. It offers a self-catered accommodation with free WiFi in public areas and rooms. Was even better, than I expected. The photos of the room do not show full picture. The room had everything we needed: cosy dining area, equiped with kitchenette, big bathroom, comfy beds. And most important for us - they allow dogs!
