No interaction was needed with anyone during check-in and out as they had a very efficient digital system in place but you can tell the owners have put a lot of heart and soul into the building. The room was spacious and finished to a really high standard, including the bathroom. We had the room at the end so had a beautiful view out onto Mt Shasta. Great café under the hotel is also worth a visit for some pastries before heading out to explore. They also had some good suggestions for food. We went to Yak Shack which was just in the process of being rebranded to Drizzle and that is worth a visit if you like a burger!

Redding Municipal Airport is 107 km away. Very kind hosts, and the room and especially bathroom were exceptionally clean! I found the bed and other accommodations comfortable, but there is little that matters more to me than cleanliness and Evergreen exceeded my expectations in that area. The heater worked well and felt so nice after hiking in the snow. The room was simple but afforded everything I needed for a peaceful, enjoyable stay. And I would've had a stunning picture-window view of Mt. Shasta in the morning if it hadn't fogged over!
