シュタルンベルク湖（Starnberger See）に近いので、夏は湖で泳ぐこともできますが、天候が悪い場合は、ホテル内にあるプールとサウナを楽しむことができます。日本人的にはサウナがあり、かつサウナ後シャワーを浴びて体を冷やす水風呂の役割を果たすプールがあるのは、「整う」上でとてもうれしかったです。子供がプールをとても気に入ったので、一日延泊することにしましたが、スタッフの方も対応がよく、スムーズに延泊処理を進めることができました。朝食のビュッフェのプレッツェルがとてもおいしかったです。いままで食べたプレッツェルで一番おいしいと思えるほどでした。Bernried駅からのアクセスは、歩いて行ける距離で、徒歩15分ほどで着きます。
