Kids friendly hotel. The stuff is very pleasant, willing to help on any complain. The breakfast is great. Anyone can find what to eat. The location is great, sorounded by forest and a green valley. There is a big supermarket in the area, 5 minutes walk from the hotel open until 22:0

The style of the hotel is of old fashioned opulence in the modern day. Beautifully attired, staff excellent throughout from the reception to breakfast. Smoking room and piano bar, easy to think its the 1920's. Will be coming back to this hotel

The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.

Stayed in the apartment block which was new and modern with all amenities. It was quiet even though my room was on the first floor. Lovely balcony to sit out in the evenings. I used this as a base to travel around the Black Forest area and visit the quaint towns in that region.

Room was a bit small but cosy, beds comfortable. Electric towel heather in bathroom was great. Location is good, tram stop 2 minutes away, Aldi supermarket just in front of hotel. Easy parking. Very professional and friendly personell.
