The pool and poolside area were very relaxing and chilled. The cafe and restaurant area were welcoming and very accommodating for us. Eli and all the staff were very friendly.

Because of the wedding of our eldest son Dirk, my wife and Had the opportunity to stay at the Catalonia Atenas hotel en Barcelona, close to the metro station Clot! Years ago we did spent some great stays at the hotel when our children were young. The hotel is a top hotel in a top region en Barna y close to the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s creation,( the architect supported by the rich, and hospital de Sant Paul, a brilliant built hospital by Montaner, supported by the city of Barcelona and unique in its glory and philosophy for the patients( when you give them down in rooms with beautiful artworks and much light they will recover more soon than average patients! The last 15 years they restored the hospital and is a superb of ART with a capital. But back to hotel Catalonia Atenas…… We enjoyed this time a luxurious ‘ attic room’ on the tenth floor with a roof-terrace with beautiful Barcelona views and a swimming pool as next-door neighbour. The breakfast in the hotel is since years one of the best we ever had with great choices of everything you like and splendid coffee!! The staff and employees are very kind and helpful, and because of our very early return to Amsterdam city, we received a lunch packet with sandwiches, fruit, drinks and a donut! So again we had a great stay at the hotel and we can advise everyone to stay at the hotel, also because of the more than reasonable price!
