A beautiful property with huge amounts of character, in a most wonderful parkland setting that was a complete contrast and relaxing antidote to the Classic Days at Magny-Cours which we were visiting for. The room we enjoyed (Darjeeling) was beautiful, spacious and well appointed, with a fantastic view overlooking the rear grounds and lakes, which entertained us with a fantastic ‘frog chorus’ every evening and morning. Breakfast was in the beautifully restored cloister on the ground floor and was a lovely way to start each day.

Clear instructions to enter the place with code key. Parking was not available nearby, but is possible to go nearby towards the gym. They share a lot of information about the house via a video upfront. The apartment is very spacious with a large hall. The kitchen is well stocked and you can prepare a meal. The interior design is nice and feels very homely. Had some difficulty in locking the room but the host was very helpful to come and check the key such that it could be locked.
