New ZealandThis hotel was a visual delight! The staff were fantastic, going above and beyond to accommodate us when the double room we booked could not be converted into two single beds for our adult children. They generously upgraded them to a higher-priced room while keeping costs reasonable, ensuring our stay was as seamless and enjoyable as possible. The hotel truly felt like the retreat they market to and although we only stayed for one night, we could easily see the value in extending our stay for several days. Please note, however, that there are a significant number of stairs and no apparent lifts, though the staff were always ready and eager to assist. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, offering a true feast, and the views were simply stunning. Dinner perhaps would be a little repetitive if you did stay longer as we did not sight an alternate menu to their amazing roasted meat delight!
