Place is located in Tissamaharama, maybe 2km of center but you have everything in for short stay. We spent 1 night before going to safari. Welcome drink - coconaut is something extra that we did not expect. Rooms has AC, fans, hot water, you can order meals and drinks. We enjoyed very much. Owner is helpfull, very nice man. House is very clean, rooms also.

Everything was perfect, the host welcome you with a delicious mango juice from his tree, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. If you want to do a safari, he will organize everything for you. Breakfast, snack, beverages fruits and OMG the Lunch we had on our way back was our favorite in Sri Lanka, they put lots of love into cooking. Everything it’s included in the Safari package. I will definitely recommend this place, and I’ll love to come back. Thank you for this beautiful stay your kindness and hospitality.

We had the best stay at Tranquil Sanctuary Yala. The room was lovely and clean. The views were amazing. The best part for us was the hosts, they were so kind and helpful. They arranged the Safari for us, made lovely meals, and sorted anything else we needed help with during our stay.

Good size room and bathroom, does everything you need for a short stay to visit yala. Great view of the rice field, very peaceful. Host is such a lovely person, good to chat to and cooked us vegan dinner as we requested - it was extremely tasty, super generous portions and had great variety!!

We stayed at the new Villa. That was perfect for family since it’s huge two story villa and has a private pool. Initially I was bit nervous because there were almost no information about this villa. But we recognized that’s because this facility opened in the end of this month (Dec. 2024). Once my family arrived at this villa, we were immediately fascinated by this villa and great hospitality of the staff. I can recommend this although the gramping camp sites should be also good. In addition, location is good. We can enjoy game safaris for both Yala National Park and Udawalawe National Park since it’s located between both national parks. Finally, I was very satisfied with the email communication with Ms. Sonali Lowe (Manager - Sales & Reservations) prior to our stay, as it was both prompt and precise.

We spent 2 nights here, it is so quite. After a trip in Negombo/Kandy/Ella we were so eager to have some peace and this accomodation was perfect to fulfill this desire of ours. Room and bathroom was clean, ac/airblade worked properly, plug in opportunities on both sides of the bed ( big plus ).

Enjoying views of Tissa Lake from all its modern rooms, The Safari is located in Tissamaharama. A 20-minute drive from Yala National Park, it has an outdoor pool with lake view and free Wi-Fi.

Location and view was just marvellous. We got upgraded to VIP suite where we had both pool and lake view. The resort in itself is so beautiful and picturesque that we didn’t feel like leaving. Service is amazing and food is just wow. Local food for breakfast buffet along with English breakfast is available. Everything was just super perfect!!!

The hotel is located in a nice place near the lake, not far from several national parks. Personnel was very helpful, room service was fast and good. If you go to safari you can ask for a breakfast package in the early morning which is very convenient. Spa is excellent, also we enjoyed pool area a lot. Great hotel to have a rest after a long journey around Sri-Lanka.
