Axis Venmar is a lovely hotel, the breakfast was plentiful but the hot food was not good. The bar service was slow and some of the staff made you feel like they were putting them out for asking for service. It’s a nice hotel with a great pool but you will wait to be serviced.

It was the best stay in our Portugal holidays. Attention to details is just magical here. Perfect match of Portugal history and new age quality. It exceeded our expectations. Room was spacious with amazing views from the balkony. All hotel feel like home away from home with attentive staff and designed details all over the property. The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The facilities are of a very high standard, as well as the decor. I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of having a mid week stay. The spa area is very calm, and has all necessary facilities.

The house is huge, there’s plenty of space for several people. The garden is awesome and Bruno and his wife are great hosts, that helped us with everything we needed and answered every question directly. Bed- ans bathrooms, garden and living room are very clean.
