EVERYTHING! This hotel was amazing. The staff make you feel so welcome and always go the extra mile. I cant complain about anything, the hotel is every way was PERFECT! Would return in a heart beat. Read this if you want an incredible journey... My partner Hanna and I were at Zen from 06.01 to 28.01 and had a fantastic experience. Being here for 22 nights allowed us to get to know the amazing staff and the wonderful owners very well. We felt at home and enjoyed every evening. Natacha, one of the owners, organized fantastic yoga sessions and made sure we had an amazing stay. Zen is located in a beautiful spot with great nature around and only 10 minutes to the beach. The evenings are quiet and peaceful, and you feel very safe there. We don’t regret a single second of staying for 3 weeks, and we will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

We had to quickly leave a different hotel and on a whim booked here, but they were able to accommodate us so quickly and we really wished we had stayed longer. The property was very clean and it felt like a secluded slice of bliss. The staff were very welcoming and easy going. The food at the restaurant was so amazing and one of the best we had over our one week stay in Zanzibar. We generally loved the laidback and chill vibe of the place. The owner was very sweet and kept in touch and was able to recommend activities that we were looking for around the area. Definitely a very good stay and we hope to come back another time!

Location is 10! Staff is 10! Breakfast is 10! The staff will go over and beyond to make you comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. This is Zanzibar and everything is Pole Pole! You cannot come here and be unhappy when you wake up to the sound of the waves of the Indian Ocean or see the beautiful blue beach of Jambiani. The pool was clean and blue! There were enough sun loungers. Special thanks to Jonas and Mabula. You are both doing a wonderful job managing the resort. Keep up the good work.

I forget the name of the bartender who takes orders for meals but he was exceptionally nice and kind and helpful. The other staff were also very good and helped arrange activities which were amazing. The location is beautiful overlooking the glorious sea and the beach. There are also lots of other restaurants around and it is close to a little village. The breakfast was delicious and the food on the menu very tasty The room was so well appointed and everything new and modern and beautiful artwork and spacious

+ room and toilet super clean + everyone very helpful und friendly + food is good (we had every dinner in this hotel) + try the muesli at breakfast - the best! + rooms have aircon + fan + the area is super quiet and peaceful the owners are the kindest people we ever met. they will try to help you with everything you want to know or do. The hotel is about 5min away from the beach and is really not a big deal.
