Had an amazing time in Matlai! Everything was perfect! Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant had the best dumplings and Bao buns! Our butlers Tito and Jubair were very friendly and always ready to provide us with whatever we needed. The hotel spa was great as well!

One ot the best beaches I have visited and what a lovely experience. The facility is really nice and well thought out. Lots of activities not only within the hotel premises but also great linkages with the community. The school visit, the cultural connection was so amazing. The cuisine meets every expectation. What a lovely and very dedicated and professional staff the hotel has! Shaban, you and your team are doing a great job which brings value for money. It was nice connecting with staff such as Alex, another Shaban, Stella, Jonathan and apologies for other names I can't quite recall. But the teamwork is amazing. The Karaoke session was heartwarming. It was a perfect place for our honeymoon which we kept it a secret to the management but still got the service as if they had been informed. Unforgettable experience indeed. We will certainly be back. Kudos to Pearl Beach

The Sand Beach Boutique Hotel is, without a doubt, the best hotel on the east coast of Zanzibar! New hotel built with great taste and with attention to detail. My family and I stayed at this hotel for 11 days in a villa with a private pool. The villas are spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for families and with the advantage of having a private pool! All the hotel staff are impeccable, from the owner to all the employees, as well as the food is always fresh and prepared with dedication. My son had his birthday and he was entitled to a small cake and they sang happy birthday to him, I know he will never forget it. Thank you very much, we loved our stay!

To those who are checking the comments section before booking Ycona, just book your villa there, that will be your best choice ever :) We stayed 3 days there and everything was perfect. The luxury side of the hotel was present within every aspect, staff kindness, villa's decoration and comfort, food and restaurant services.. The staff also helped me to organize the proposal on the beach with a full package of bed decoration, romantic set up. at the beach and romantic dinner. Thank you to Roberto for giving us a visit of their spice farm which is wonderful and growing. Thank you to Marco for being available before our arrival And thank you to all the staff and the Maasai!
