Lagos Del Calafate 4-star hotel is located in the city of El Calafate, at the base of Cerro Calafate with incomparable views to Argentinian Lake and only 100mts. from Av. Libertador San Martín, heart of the shopping and entertainment area. Breakfast was great many choices 😋 and yummy. The location is great walking distance from down town but not in winter. Snow everywhere and very slippery cuz the side walk are covered in snow and iced Hotel is super nice and rooms are confortable and huge. C Climate pool is wow specially after being all day outside in winter.

We were confused by some of the negative reviews and realized that some of the older reviews seem to be from another hotel that was under and new management.

Blanca Patagonia is a charming boutique hotel in El Calafate, southern Patagonia. This small 4-star offers cosy guest rooms, great lake views and friendly service in a picturesque location. A daily buffet breakfast is offered. The wood construction was so charming, and the view from the common area, directly over the lake, as well as from our room was fantastic. The room itself was comfortable and one can sleep with the window open to enjoy the cold breeze, while it’s still silent. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

Spa treatments can be booked and there are gym facilities on site. WiFi is free. The rooms are very comfortable with nice big jacuzzi tubs to soak in and heated floors which were both great after cold winter excursions. The view from the lake front room was spectacular.

Beautiful views at the rear and peaceful location slightly out of town however they run a free shuttle bus all day/night into El Calafate town. (10 mins). Highly recommend - clean/comfy bed - ALL excellent!

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The apartment is very close to the bus station, the room is spacious and there is a kitchen that I can cook the meal myself.
