The quiet relaxing part of it but only a 15 min drive to San Pedro or to secret beach - great facilities, very clean and awesome friendly staff. The pool was amazing and so was the pool bar!

Paradise Cottage is a spacious and modern home with all the amenities you need: ac, screened deck, wifi, tv, kitchen with full appliances, washer and dryer, large shower, etc. The property management is top tier and provides concierge services. They set up our taxi from the airport to the water taxi. They set et up our golf cart delivery at the water taxi and were escorted to the property. This made our arrival seemless!

We were met at the front door of the house upon on our arrival. We were given a tour of the home, amenities and were told to call anytime if we needed anything.

L’établissement Matachica Beach Resort and Spa vous accueille à San Pedro, à 300 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : North Ambergris Caye Beach. Absolutely loved our cosy cabin at Matachica. Fairy tale arrival by speed boat with drinks awaiting us was an amazing start to the holiday. The resort is quiet, stylish and very tastefully decorated. It never felt busy even though i think it was over half full. The food was amazing! The chef knows what they're doing - fantastic bread and breakfast pastries but every meal was delicious. However, what made our trip were the staff - everyone was so kind and willing to help in any possible way. We had problems with our air conditioning unit and after an initial fix failed they replaced the whole unit whilst giving we the option to change rooms if we wanted (we didn't - we were too settled) Lovely people but i also found that generally true of Belize. Thank you so much. Do try the trips - we borrowed a kayak to go to the reef across from the hotel and snorkel with sting rays but also did organised Hol Chan trip including swimming with nurse sharks which was fabulous.

Set in Ambergris Caye, Portofino Beach Resort-An Authentic Island Escape! offers its guests free continental breakfast, snorkeling gear and kayaks. We liked it all!!! Beautiful resort with an exceptional staff. We've traveled a lot and I don't think I remember anyplace providing such personal and warm welcome-to-departure service. Food great also! Thank you!!

Situé sur sa propre île privée au large de la côte du Belize, le Shaka Caye propose des sports nautiques sur place, une formule tout compris et un accès rapide à la barrière de corail du Belize. The staff at Shaka Caye is marvelous - couldn't have! They all worked really hard to make our visit a comfortable and memorable experience and they succeeded big time. Chef Jose prepared the most delicious meals we have tasted in a long time (see pictures), and the food was served in the most professional way by Michael and Percy. Two choices for breakfast, two for lunch and two for dinner (plus starter and desert) every day. Fresh fish and lobster, loads of vegetables, but also chicken and beef. New menu daily plus a snack delivered to our room. Obi the barkeeper made excellent tropical drinks from an extensive menu. The friendly ladies, Glanda, Veronica and Daisy, in the office were super helpful and did every kinds of arrangements for us from snorkling trip, transport to the airport and mailing postcards. The cabanas are beautiful in a "caribbean" style. Loads of thick towels, very comfortable bed and great bathroom with enough hot water. Minibar filled up for free every day. All the cabanas and the studio rooms are located at the water front, and there are more than enough sun beds and you can have as much privacy as you like. No creepy insects on the island. All the outdoor and indoor facilities are clean. Sargassum is a problem all over the caribbean, but Shaka Caye staff cleaned the beach every day so it was pristine and attractive. W love Shaka Caye and the employees, and will come back again.
