This hotel is right by the River Pielisjoki and 200 metres from Joensuu Station. It has a restaurant, pub and a nightclub. Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms at Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel Joensuu. We had an excellent stay here at this hotel. It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed. A great hotel!

Set in Koli National Park, this hotel offers ski-to-door access from Ukko-Koli ski slope. It has a grill restaurant and spa with indoor pools, outdoor hot tubs and 3 saunas. Wi-Fi is free. I liked having access to the sauna. Outstanding breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and cordial. The view was beautiful, and I was fortunate to have perfect weather for hiking.
