This perfect little haven in the Petite France area of Strasbourg was an ideal base to explore this beautiful historic city. This renovated old building has everything - character, history, vintage furniture and modern facilities. We visited Strasbourg during the Christmas Market and while it was only a few minutes walk to the major market squares and the local restaurants, the immediate vicinity was pretty quiet - almost no vehicle traffic and just a few pedestrians, who mostly seemed to be taking their kids to the school opposite. We only saw one staff member (I’m sure there must be others) but he was very welcoming and informative, giving us good tips on where to go. We loved our room, which was very nicely furnished, but also had plenty of power points, a device charger on the desk and the most fantastic shower.

Château de Pourtalès is located in the north area of Strasbourg. It has witnessed years of European history, welcoming some of the most important musicians, philosophers and poets. It provides a spa area with Finnish sauna and relaxing facilities and which has direct access to the garden. The rooms were very clean, the landscape was spectacular and the receptionist was very kind and helpful!

Guided us from parking to hotel and then when we forgot a few things in the room when leaving the hostess ran to garage to bring them to us.

The spacious bed and breakfast has a satellite flat-screen TV. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hair dryer. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. A great little relaxing paradise in Drulingen! Everything you wish for is there. Very kind host. Ofcourse the jacuzzi is the bonus!

Fabrizia and Benoît were really nice and kind to us and the house was just perfect, very confortable and very well decorated, it had everything we needed. WiFi is great too. Parking inside was a plus. The kitchen is fully equiped if you need to cook, supermarkets are very close, very nice recommendations of restaurants by the hosts. Our hosts were very kind; they helped us with suggestions for visiting, even made reservations for us. The breakfast was good; it had many home made and local products. Our second time here and it’s just as nice as a couple of years ago. The lovely rooms and quiet setting are much appreciated, and Sylvia is a great hostess.

Guests can also warm themselves near outdoor fireplace after a day of cycling. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. The room was spacious, very comfortable and pristine. The common areas were great and the game room was pretty impressive. And most importantly, the host were lovely to chat with and gave us great advice regarding the region and places to visit - we had breakfast (which was great by the way) in their company and could exchange in length. Strongly recommend staying here - we were there with the family, and we would definitely go back just with my wife, to visit a bit more the region.
