Offering mountain views, Il Porto is an accommodation situated in Tuoro sul Trasimeno, 36 km from Perugia Cathedral and 37 km from San Severo Church - Perugia. Andrea is a very hospitable and friendly host, we had excellent communication before and during our stay in Il Porto. He is there every day and ready to help with everything. The apartment is large and cozy - a large fully equipped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms (one with a bathtub), one small bedroom for one kid/adult (without window), and a living room with kamin. High ceilings. Good mattresses, pillows, linen. A lot of spare blankets/pillows in closets. A lot of different glasses, mugs, dishes, etc. All is clean and ready to use. Strengh WiFi signal. Private parking is located in the courtyard, actually, in the garden between olives and plum trees. (the entry is a bit tight, and can be difficult for very large cars and/or inexperienced drivers) A pool with sun beds in front of the building (unfortunately, was not actual for us at the end of September). A gazebo with a table and chairs in the garden. Grill. There were also guests in other apartments, but we did not hear them. So we really enjoyed our stay in Il Porto, Andrea, thank you a lot.

Located 2 km from Lake Trasimeno, I Capricci Di Merion is an Art Nouveau building in the Umbrian countryside. It offers a traditional restaurant, country-style rooms, an outdoor pool with a hydromassage corner and lake views and an indoor pool with transparent walls with olive grove view, equipped with a waterfall, hydromassage and chill-out corner.

Capricci Di Merion features a small wellness centre in a traditional stone building. Guests can relax in the pool, enjoy a sauna or other treatments. Very peaceful, interesting interiors, comfortable rooms. We had a minor inconvenience during our stay and the staff resolved it immediately, compensating the discomfort like a proper 5 star hotel!

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub.

Poggioleone’s rooms are all air conditioned and feature an LCD satellite TV, minibar and wooden ceiling beams. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the hotel's public areas. Very nice location and property, you can see attention to details, restaurant serves amazing local food. Possibility to charge electric car. Breakfast was amazing even though we were almost the only guests. Unfortunately we could not experience the swimming pool, as it was closed.

Relais Villa Monte Solare Wellness & SPA is a luxurious 4-star property with beautiful gardens and a panoramic spa with views of the hills. Restaurant Dolium serves specialities of Tuscany and Umbria. Parking is free.

The panoramic spa includes an indoor pool with hydromassage, a panoramic sauna, a steam bath and a sun terrace. Rooms are really cool vintage styled rooms, super clean and very spacious. The staff is amazing, helped us with everything, including a flat tire we had on a Saturday, probably the best staff I encountered. Breakfast is really good! The spa is really nice and clean. Views from the Spa/Hotel itself are amazing. All in all, very good value and an awesome experience.

Set in Castiglione del Lago, 47 km from Piazza Grande, Agriturismo Verbena has an infinity pool, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The property has pool and city views, and is 48 km from Perugia Cathedral. Guests can use the hot tub and the spa centre, or enjoy garden views. This is by far the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and beautiful. The best thing about it however was the host, who was absolutely lovely and treated our children like her own. This is a great property for families because there is so much for kids to do.

Guests at the farm stay can enjoy an Italian breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. A snack bar can be found on-site, and in the warmer months you can make use of the barbecue facilities. The location and the view of Lake Trasimeno was sensational. We loved the modern facilities of the cottage. We enjoyed the history walk around the nearby countryside. This accomodation is perfect if you have a car.

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. If you would like to discover the area, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the farm stay can arrange a bicycle rental service. Just enough out of the way to be in restful nature but still fairly close to sites and attractions in the area. Very friendly staff. Great massage was available. Breakfast had tasty home cooked breads and pastries and good coffees.

A buffet breakfast is provided daily at Hotel Kursaal. Next door, you will find an Umbrian restaurant serving local specialities such as pasta with wild boar or truffles.

Guests have access to a swimming pool, hot tub, playground and private beach, all hosted by the campsite next door. Lovely B&B on Lake Trasimeno, good value for money. We stayed here for a wedding in the local area and this was perfect to have our own space, clean, spacious room and lovely staff. The included breakfast was a bonus and lovely to have in the morning - good coffee, also walking distance into town when you want to explore and enjoy the restaurants there.

Connect to the internet at the free internet point and enjoy delicious Umbrian cuisine, vegetarian and vegan dishes at the elegant restaurant. All dishes are created using the finest natural and organic ingredients. You can even take part in cookery classes to learn how to create these dishes yourself. At EcoResort Il Cantico della Natura, it is also possible to have a personal yoga teacher on demand every day. Great staff, fantastic food, amazing view

Located in Castiglione del Lago, 42 km from Perugia Cathedral, Country House Podere Lacaioli provides accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, a spa and wellness centre and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The country house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. It was one of our best vacations in recent years. Country House Podere Lacaioli is a peaceful house with a restaurant in central Italy and is a great base for trips to Siena, Assisi, Florence, or Rome. It is run by a very helpful and friendly elderly couple, it is quiet and peaceful, 5 minutes from shops, bars, restaurants, and the old town. A great place, wonderful people, you can cook or barbecue yourself, or use the restaurant in the resort or one of the many nearby. It was a great stay with excellent food, wine, and trips to nearby towns and attractions, after which we could relax in this wonderful place. It's not modern, and the internet doesn't always work everywhere, but that's really not the most important thing during a vacation where you want to get away from work, everyday life, and relax, sunbathe, or swim in the pool. We were truly delighted.
