It was pouring rain the day I arrived, so parked myself at the spa for 3 hours and had by far the best Ayurvedic treatments I had on my entire trip. Overall accommodations and spa were a luxurious experience that didn't break the bank.

Our stay at Oleenas was great! The room was spaceous and clean with hot water and a rack for wet clothes. The beds were comfy and it was very quiet at night. The food offered was the best we've had in Sri Lanka so far and they tried to change the breakfast every day a little. But the best about our stay was the hospitality from Jeewa and his family. He helped us planning our stay and organised absolutely everything for us! For our trips to Sigiriya, Dambulla and Polonnaruwa he even drove us with his Tuktuk and explained everything we saw along the route. But also before we even arrived he organised our transport and told us we can count on his help for the rest of our trip. Would recommend 100%!

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Habarana New Star Homestay! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We stayed in the cabana, which looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with a hot shower and cold AC for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing fresh juice, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of flavors to start the day. They also offer tuk-tuk rides to Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock and safari experiences at competitive prices, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
