An à la carte breakfast is available at the accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage Negombo! The receptionists were the sweetest, we felt really welcome. The staff was really attentive and cared about us, going out of their way to make our stay great. The room was as described, the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the evening and morning swim at the pool, it was something magical! Our heartfelt compliments to the chef - we absolutely LOVED the food! In the morning, the cook prepared the breakfast from the coconut he harvested from the hotel's garden that same morning! The location is a bit remote, but also very calm and quiet. Walking around we could peek into the lives of common Sri Lankans. All in all, a great stay, recommended!

Staff were very helpful and let us store our bags overnight. Bunnies running around was really cool. Breakfast was excellent and filling. The rooms were clean, the water was hot and we even had separate bedrooms for the first time. It's close to the touristy area so good for shopping and restaurants too.

The room was very cosy, clean and the Villa itself is situated on a more quiet street, but still close to one of the restaurant streets. We were especially impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the young receptionist at the Villa :)

The room was super clean, nice decoration/furnitures, clean bathroom and silent. There is a fridge in the room, free bottles of water, tra/coffee, toothpaste + brushes and shampoo/conditioner (never seen these in an accomodation in Sri Lanka before). Wifi works perfectly and hosts are super friendly and speak good English. The host even drove me to the airport at 5am which was amazing! AC works perfectly and is silent.

Such beautiful friendly staff. The pool was great and it was so relaxing. So easy to walk to other restaurants and activities. We arrived very late in the night and the staff were so accommodating with that. Yummy breakfast! We were made to feel very special and felt very rejuvenated and relaxed after having long flights beforehand.

The bathroom was not directly attached to the room, but it was our own private bathroom to use, with a curtain providing privacy to go from the room to the toilet. Warm water in the shower. Easy walk to the beach through the back way, close to food and restaurants! Nice light breakfast and common space for guests to eat together! Good wifi. This place is off the tourist strip and is tucked away in a residential area, but it's really easy to walk to town in less than 5 minutes Owners are attentive and professional!
