If you are in the area this place is a must stay ! And in the morning an incredible breakfast with Dahl, string hoppers, crepes, fresh eggs , fresh fruit and really good coffee. Great place to stay 👌🏼 ❤️

It was a beautiful place to come and relax for some days for me. Raj was an exceptional host, he really helped me with everything, wether it was guidance on my trip, where to go or just questions I had. He also cooks delicious and healthy food in his super nice restaurant! For me it was perfect to be in a less crowded place as Wadduwa, as I needed to relax from another trip.

When I check-in I was offered an upgrade to one of their best villas with a pool. Very clean room and amenities. Very good and filling breakfast with a nice restaurant. Moreover, the property is just a stone throw away from the beach!

Food excellent. And the most important people and their outstanding service. My host was Uneska and all credits go to her for such wonderful time in Kalutara. Don’t miss this place. From the moment we arrived at Tangerine Beach Hotel, we knew we had found a special place. The warm welcome at check-in immediately set the tone staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail. Our room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, with lovely views and a sense of calm that made it easy to relax. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything neat and fresh every day. The facilities, especially the pool and garden, are beautifully maintained; walking through the lush grounds to the beach felt like stepping into a private tropical retreat. A special highlight was the complimentary high tea they arranged for us athoughtful gesture that made our afternoon extra special. The tea service was beautifully presented with a great selection of treats and a perfect view of the gardens and ocean.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the whole property. Located on the western coast of Sri Lanka, The Blue Water - Geoffrey Bawa Heritage Resort Hotel is 35 km south of Colombo City. The hotel is 68 km from Bandaranaike International Airport. I’m a big fan of Geoffrey Bawa’s architecture. Despite the hotel was full on weekend, I still can feel the peaceful breeze going through each corridors. The staffs were amazing, thank you Erandi for helping me during check in.

Buffet breakfast is served at the hotel. The two restaurants serve local, Western and Asian dishes. Drinks can be enjoyed at the resort's 2 bars. This was my second time at this property. Last time, I stayed in a private pool villa. Since I traveled alone this time, I chose a standard room. The room size is quite small but still suitable for a solo traveler. I encountered an issue 15 minutes after check-in, but it was resolved quickly. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly. I particularly liked my room because it faced the beach. As I mentioned, the issue I had was addressed promptly, and the key person responsible was the very professional Guest Relations Executive, Ms. Tharindi. She is welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The main reason I am giving a 10/10 rating is because of her outstanding service and quick resolution of my concern. Every morning, she checks in with guests to ensure their comfort, which I truly appreciate. Having worked in the service industry for the past 12 years, I know how important this level of care is. Ms. Tharindi, you are a valuable asset to this property. Once again, thank you for making my stay at Avani so memorable. I would also like to thank the Front Office Manager, Mr. Jayantha, and the Executive Housekeeper, Mr. Eric, who personally met with me and resolved the issue. Additionally, my gratitude goes to the room attendant who kept my room impeccably clean.
