This was one of the absolutely best finds on Nilaweli stretch. The rooms were huge and spotlessly clean. The meals, especially the local food, were amazing. And all the staff were helpful, warm and always there to make our stay more comfortable.

It’s relatively close to the beach and the ocean in this area is very clean and warm. We spent here 4 nights with our 3 years old son and we all had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive. I especially want to highlight the man at the pool area and the guys from the restaurant, especially Kirujan , who was very helpful with all our needs. The food was delicious and varied. Definitely recommend this hotel. From what we’ve seen that’s probably the best resort in the area.

We stayed here for two nights and it was very good. Very clean, very new, good working AC, nice wather pressure and the host is very helpful and kind. They also have a garden shower which is nice. The beach is just 100 meters down the street. You can use the fridge in the kitchen. Very nice place to stay !

I had a truly memorable experience staying at Pranu Guest House in Nilaveli, hosted by Rajan and his wonderful wife. Rajan is one of the most humble and kind-hearted people I’ve met. He takes the time to sit with you, help plan your day or holiday, and is always quick to assist — whether it’s calling a cab, connecting you to a currency exchange person, or even offering a small medical first aid kit, which came in handy when I needed help for a minor cut. He’s not only a great host but also someone who genuinely cares about the environment — he spends his free time contributing to ocean cleanup efforts, which is truly inspiring. His wife is equally lovely and makes delicious, healthy breakfasts that are far better than anything you’ll find in a restaurant — homemade with love, and a perfect way to start the day.
