The spacious holiday home with a terrace and sea views has 6 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 7 bathrooms with a hot tub. Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Very spacious and clean house. The 5 bedrooms upstairs were all with bathrooms and very nice. One bedroom downstairs was a bit darker as it's in the basement but it had AC so I think it would be ok (we didn't need it though so nobody slept there). The extra room in the basement would probably be ok for a night but not for long, it was pretty dark and humid. The pool was still warm enough in September and had great view. Very good BBQ and we'll equipped kitchen. We could hear goats, roosters, and donkeys from the neighborhood, that was cute.

The place is ideally situated and equipped for the family. It is a spacious, modern, and super clean place, and the host Nathon is super attentive and professional—very easy to communicate with and kind to help our stay in Marsalforn get the best out of it. There is a great cafe and a Thai restaurant at the building entrance - highly recommended. The watersports service centre in front of the apartment, as well as the Ghar Qawgla beach is just 5 5-minute walk. We highly recommend this place! I was a little worried about the paid A/C system but it is super reasonable - approx. around 2-3 Eur per day to keep everyone cool in the living room and 2 bedrooms. We all agreed it is actually better for the environment and helped us to increase our awareness of how we can consume our energy consciously and yet maintain a comfortable temperature. Well done.

ALTO Beyond in Xagħra provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a tennis court and a bar. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We spent almost two weeks at ALTO and it was one of the best vacations of our lives, if not the best. Even before we arrived, Claire, the owner of the property, made sure what our expectations were and what we liked to do. From the very first moment, we were charmed by the welcome from Claire and her two very kind assistants, Alvin and Nivin, who were waiting for us before entering the secret garden that ALTO Beyond turned out to be. The interior of the property is decorated with taste and attention to detail. The lush and varied greenery in the garden will bring solace to even the most stressed people. The breakfasts served in the garden or on the patio were delicious and you could request whatever you wanted - the poached eggs deserve a separate 12 out of 10 points in the rating :-) Alvin and Nivin were always there to help with gentleness and a smile. Claire advised us on what to visit in Gozo and Malta and her recommendations were always spot on, especially since we were getting detailed directions from her to get there. Thanks to Claire's excellent knowledge of the island, we got to places we would never have gotten to without solid research, which of course we didn't have time for before arriving. We would especially like to thank Claire for her recommendations on restaurant choices - the food and atmosphere were great everywhere. The fact that we brought back a few more pounds from our vacation is entirely our fault. Claire is a well-educated person and very knowledgeable about the history of Malta and beyond, so it was pure pleasure to talk to her about it. And last not least - three adorable beagles sweetened our stay in Alto as crazy dog lovers. Peanut, Smudge and Bingo, AKA Mr. Houdini, accepted our excessive attention with dignity. After staying at ALTO Beyond, we fully understand the name of the place! The stay here definitely exceeded any of our expectations. We will certainly come back!

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Great location, amazing views and outdoor area. Clean and huge rooms . Might need some maintenance however on the whole I can rate it 9/10. Will definitely visit again, also very nice host.
