The Maldives are one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and a vacation here feels like a beautiful dream. For our two-week vacation, we chose the Radisson Blu resort. A beautiful location alone is not enough; the place and atmosphere are created mainly by the people. Everyone who works here deserves a big thank you. Everything was absolutely perfect down to the last detail. The resort is managed at a high professional level, clean, comfortable, and offers many options for relaxation and active entertainment. The meals are delicious, very diverse, and even during a longer stay, there is always something new to taste and discover. All the service staff are friendly and always ready to fulfill every wish. We cannot name everyone who took such great care of us, as the list would be quite long. However, our personal thanks go to Mohamed, who made our villa feel like a true, albeit temporary, home every day with a smile and great willingness. A thousand great thanks, and we wish the resort many more satisfied clients. This place is worth visiting, and not just once!

On arrival at the island (via speed boat), staff will meet you at the pier and help you with your luggage to your apartment, and the same applies for departure. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with air conditioning and a fan. There is a good choice of breakfast, with several types of local breakfast or a continental breakfast served on the terrace surrounded by tropical plants. It is accompanied by good coffee, tea and a choice of juices. The location itself is about 100 metres from the sandy beach. There are many restaurants serving local delicacies in the immediate vicinity. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Set in Rasdu, Veligandu Maldives Resort Island features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Veligandu Island Resort is exactly how I pictured paradise: spectacular sea and beach, excellent service, extremely comfortable and clean rooms. Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 90 km southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat boasts of its own magnificent house reef.... Drift is a small small resort with a wonderful house reef. We saw sharks, plenty of dish, beautiful corals and was fortunate to meet two turtles several times. We stayed in a water villa and a beach villa. Both was very nice, but the water villa felt lux and we really enjoyed the direct access to the reef. The staff was extremely professional with a polite yet relaxed attitude. The food was also great, good selection and everything we ate was fresh and tasty (we are gourmet eaters..) Execpt enjoying the ocean, there is not much to do except relaxing. Our daughter had a massage and it was very good. Don't miss going down to the yetti at 21:00 to watch the large amount of nurse sharks and other fish, feeding in the light from the yetti.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Cottage, the room was nice with a fun open air shower, the owner and staff were beyond kind and helped make it a great experience for my 80 year old Mother who travelled with me.
