For me, all icl was really necessary, you don't have shops or other restaurants at the island (there is 1 little souvenier shop but not a supermarket or sth like this). The food was really good (buffet; pasta station - loved it!! - currys, desert station, Pizza, meat etc. Small island (when you take a walk at the beach you are done with the whole island in ~10 Mins :D but a lot to see / do: Pool (no people there; maybe just at the evening), good food & cocktails, animals (geckos & bigger ones are everywhere on trees, fruit bats, ginger the cat, a grey heron, two little parrots, little sharks, octopus & rays esp at dusk; take a torch at night or you will step on a crab :D). staff is very nice, especially the cooks at the pasta station! there are a lot of italians on the island, but animation is in english too (movie night, sports, music quiz etc). our water bugalow was very spacious and great! we didnt wear shoes on the whole island (even at dinner there is a sandy bottom) <3 Would definetely recomend a stay on this island and book again!

Ukhulas as an island itself is a piece of paradise on earth; but these guys make your experience even more divine. We were feeling as part of the family from the first time we set foot on the island, until the last day these lovely people personally saw us off to the dock, making sure we care about nothing else but just enjoy the well-deserved vacation. I am especially thankful to Sheena; we took a full package including all 3 meals, and never regretted because Sheena is a great talented cook and the meals she made for us every day were simply amazing. I am highly recommending this guesthouse to everyone! And I am wishing all the best to the owner and the team.

Set in Rasdu, Veligandu Maldives Resort Island features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. An Unforgettable Solo Birthday in Paradise! I visited Veligandu as a solo traveler for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I never once felt alone. The staff made me feel like I was among friends – they were incredibly kind and treated me with such warmth and care that I felt extra special throughout my stay. It truly felt like I had a second family there. The daily itineraries were packed with exciting activities – I had the chance to go snorkeling, join a dolphin cruise, and more. Every day brought something new, and I loved being able to choose how I spent my time. The dining options were plentiful, and every meal was delicious. A highlight for me was the teppanyaki restaurant – the Teperniak Chef MrZ Francis was amazing! Because it was my birthday, they even put on a whole show for me, making the experience unforgettable. Evenings were just as lively as the days. There was always something happening – one night it was jazz, and another night was 80s disco, which was by far my favorite! The entertainment and atmosphere were perfect. The food was exceptional at all times – from the breakfast selection to lunch, dinner, and even the snacks by the beach. I savored every bite and truly enjoyed every second of my stay. Initially, I booked for three nights thinking I might get bored, but by the end, I wished I had stayed for a week! I also want to give a special shoutout to the diving team. Miss Sarah, Mr. Misbah, and the absolute star, Julia, took care of me from start to finish. Julia, in particular, was incredibly comforting and made sure I felt at ease all day. I wholeheartedly recommend Veligandu – not just for the breathtaking location but for the people who make it truly special. This will not be my last visit! I can’t wait to return with my loved ones to share this magical place with them. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable!

Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 90 km southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat boasts of its own magnificent house reef.... Ahmed the manager was very good man and Maria she is the best girl in this island. She always smile. She try to help much as she can. We have a little bit of different issue about the prices. I tried to talk to booking.com and nobody answered me back.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Cottage, the room was nice with a fun open air shower, the owner and staff were beyond kind and helped make it a great experience for my 80 year old Mother who travelled with me.
