This atmospheric hotel has a heated indoor swimming pool and a lovely wellness area. In addition to these facilities, Eilandhotel Texel - Nieuw geopend hotel offers an attractive courtyard garden with a glass roof for relaxing. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helped us with anything we needed, including biking rentals. The hotel is new and refreshing. so nice that it's a new building. The breakfast and the dinner restaurant are excellent.

The intimate Wadden Hotel Greenside Texel is located on the edge of the picturesque village of De Koog, a 10-minute walk from the North Sea beach. It offers various wellness facilities and elegant accommodation. My dog was able to come with us and there was a little gift basket for him. We booked a room with a “backyard” so having that as an option is great. SPA is a stretch but indeed had a great time in the sauna. What I really enjoyed though is how clean it is overall. What is more, the area that the hotel is built around is perfect for walks, there’s a forest not far from it as well.

Featuring a lift, this property also provides guests with a modern restaurant. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. I really enjoyed my stay here. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and the room was in excellent condition. I especially loved the high ceilings and the large doors that open fully, giving the space lots of air and light. The room has its own little patio with chairs, separated for privacy – perfect for sitting outside and relaxing. The bedroom had a beautiful skylight window, so you can lie in bed and watch the stars at night. And as the cherry on top, there’s a small but cozy rooftop terrace. The location is also great – just a 10–15 minute walk to the sea, with dunes and a forest park nearby. Grocery stores are practically across the street, and there are many cafés, restaurants, and bike rentals around. Also, bus 28 from the ferry stops right in front of the entrance 🙂

All rooms have been recently renovated and offer a private balcony or terrace, a work place, a flatscreen TV and box-spring beds. An extensive breakfast buffet is served in the morning.

Hotel Boschrand was a great place for us, it was not far to the center of the local town and the supermarkets and it was very quiet. It is a nice base to explore Texel. The beach with sand dunes is just a short walk away. I highly recommend the hotel and we would love to visit again. Also the breakfast was so nice with many foods to choose from.
