Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews, but we didn’t have any issues at all. The suite was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were lovely—going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The spa and wellness facilities were fab. We hired the bikes almost every day and did the yoga classes which were all fantastic and easy to organise. Breakfast was perfect for us, and we especially appreciated that it was available until 11 AM. The restaurant food was good—not extraordinary, but we had no complaints! You can tell everything is made fresh, with some ingredients sourced locally, many even grown on the property. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!
