Large rooms with very tasteful and individual interiors (we enjoyed a tour through all rooms), outside facilities with large pool and breathtaking view from top of a hill into the Alentejo, excellent breakfast (as well as dinner in case you wish to spend the whole day at the retreat), nice common rooms, and much more. And last not least, Berny and Glenn themselves - you can’t find hosts being more gentle and hearty, helping you with all kinds of recommendations, and being there for interesting chats! We will come again for sure!

Loved having the robes in the room and the ability to swap out beach/pool towels whenever you wanted. Shower was amazing. Grounds are gorgeous, pool is peaceful and clean. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Front desk staff was super sweet and helpful.

Beautiful place, just outside the village, next to a nice walking trail to Sao Luis. Great breakfast & garden. We stayed twice, our first room was small but fine, our second stay was in a larger bedroom & bathroom.

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay offers garden views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available. The location is very good, close to nice restaurants (incl. the restaurant on site) and little supermarkets. The room was very clean, spacious and with nice decorative details. The bathrom is modern. It is placed at a road, but it wasn't disturbing (and the windows are good!) I can definitely recommend it for a short stay!
