It's always wonderful to get good service in Sweden (as it can't be taken for granted)! The staff a Hotel Furusund was exceptional! They were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! For that alone, I will give them 5 stars. Beyond that, the hotel is located in one of the most idyllic parts of the Swedish archipelago, it was a famous artist community at the turn of the century. There is lots to see, or you can just relax and take the views from the hotel. Recommend a room with a view! The restaurant goes out of its way to serve inventive dishes that are quite delicious. The breakfast buffet is also one of the best I've had. I will be back! Thank you so much!

Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference centre Fågelbro Säteri offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. I travelled from abroad to attend a wedding and had such a wonderful experience at Fågelbrohus. Alma at the front desk was incredibly kind and super helpful, answering all my questions about check-in, arranging the taxi, and more. The restaurant staff were equally warm and welcoming. Truly outstanding service. I would happily recommend it 10/10!

Quiet, peaceful. Kayaks and swimming right there. Staff is amazing. Breakfast spread is wonderful. Restaurant for dinner has amazing dishes. There are hiking trails across the road. You can take the bus to town if you want to explore or go to a different restaurant.
