We’ve spent a lot of time in SA yet we were all absolutely wowed by this place. Didn’t want to leave. Also worth mentioning that this place doubles up as a high end hospitality training school giving opportunities to the local community and training them up to work in tourism.

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails.

Surrounded by native plants, many scenic hikes and cycle routes are available. Guests can also relax in the entertainment area. Absolutely everything! Dirt road to resort easy and lovely walks but the views!!! Stunning! Service 10/10 - massage 15/10- food out of this world!! Loved every minute!

The breakfast offers buffet, à la carte or continental options. At the accommodation you will find a restaurant serving Grill BBQ and South African cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and halal options can also be requested. The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

Lilitha Boutique Hotel-East London features an outdoor fireplace and a picnic area. I loved everything about the place, from the staff to the rooms, the bathroom wow you can even sleep there. Breakfast, well presented and very nice.

Bike hire is available at the property and the area is popular for horse riding. You can engage in various activities such as game drives, bush picnics, cycling trails, hiking trails, clay pigeon shooting or just relaxing at the rim flow pool. We checked in on Friday evening, upon our arrival the staff was friendly. We checked in and went for dinner. The food was delicious throughout from the breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was such a wonderful experience. The game drive was great too. We highly recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, peace to stay in.

The spa offers a variety of massages and beauty treatments. Other facilities at River Bend Lodge include a shared lounge, a library and an outdoor pool with sun loungers. It was perfectly positioned, John our game guide was superb, we managed to see so many game and he was so knowledgeable and helpful and was so much fun
