Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The location is fabulous, looking over the gorge. The chalets are lovely, great bathroom facilities. Food is very good.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. Everything was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were great, the safari was amazing as well, we saw the big 5, even though it’s a small reserve compared to others, the animals were scattered and it was difficult to find them. Lovely experience, will definitely come again.

Offering unique forest views from above the treetops, this estate is just 10 km from Plettenberg Bay. Wonderful quiet and unique treetop location. The rooms are fabulous and service excellent. Food was exceptional too.

Gondwana Game Reserve, where Big Five game roams free through the Cape fynbos, is located 25 km from Mosselbay. We loved the breathtaking scenery, the peaceful atmosphere, and the amazing wildlife experiences. The staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Trogon House offers treetop accommodation in the Tsitsikamma Forest, 15 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Plattenberg Bay. Staying amongst the trees and the sounds of birds and monkeys at Trogon is truly special. We liked that we could have dinner at Trogon as we wouldnt want to drive at night. Dinner was good and very cozy. All staff was incredibly friendly!
