Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. From the moment you enter the property, you know you're in for a special treat! Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. Nice clean rooms, beautiful poolarea and a super nice pool bar, very good dinner and breakfast and service was great. The safari was really nice as well as the guide. If you are looking for safari in the Cape Town area this was definitely worth the drive. We went to Aquila Game park the week after and Garden route game lodge was much nicer.

Nestled at the eastern head of Knysna, this luxurious, pet-friendly hotel boasts a championship golf course, a restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is provided. Everything was fantastic. the room size is big and the bedding is comfortable and of good quality.

Offering unique forest views from above the treetops, this estate is just 10 km from Plettenberg Bay. The Tsala team made this place extra special. We got recently engaged and they went the extra mile to celebrate this with us.

Gondwana Game Reserve, where Big Five game roams free through the Cape fynbos, is located 25 km from Mosselbay. What a stay! Gondwana goes straight up to the top of best places we have ever stayed in. Overall the park is amazing and greatly managed, the game drives were spectacular and the staff was unbelievably supportive and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed over for 2 nights with a small baby (1.5y old) and we were accommodated on a beautiful and huge villa (would fit 8 people), the staff was able to accommodate for us going on a couple of game drives with the baby - which she absolutely loved - and you are able to enjoy the pool / restaurant to relax in between. Couldn't have been a better experience, honestly. If you are driving from Cape Town like we did it can seems a bit of a long drive, but it is definitely worth it - one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa

Trogon House offers treetop accommodation in the Tsitsikamma Forest, 15 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Plattenberg Bay. Staff went over and above for us, making us feel like we were at home ❤️ The view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful and felt so relaxed from arrival to departure 😁

Situated between the Outeniqua Mountains and the beaches of the Indian Ocean, in Mossel Bay, Botlierskop Private Game offers elegant accommodation. Amazing getaway for a honeymoon. The activities were nice, the rooms were spacious and very fancy, the food was exceptional!!

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. The staff’s attention to detail was outstanding. Well-appointed rooms, amazing outlook, brilliant theming & truly delicious food. An exceptional South African stay.
