Wonderful stay – amazing staff! We had a great experience at Atour Light Dongfeng Hotel in Kunming. Special thanks to the two staff at check-in – they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The check-out team was also friendly and efficient. Rooo was perfect. The whole staff really made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay! The property itself was comfortable and well-kept, but what truly stood out was the staff. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile—whether it was arranging transportation, giving local tips, or making sure my room was perfect. It felt like they genuinely cared about making my stay special.The owner is also a crystal specialist—don’t miss the chance to meet her and maybe get a little extra good luck! Very well located and clean, good value for money. The area is nice and a short walk from pedestrian streets and market, subway 2 mintes away and very convenient if you need to be close to the Railway station. Good breakfast and probably the best thing about it is the staff. We particularly want to thank the girl at reception on the morning of August 17th.

Host was warm and friendly. She kindly helped us when we had difficulty with tour bookings as well. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The train station is just round the corner, but most places were also a short cab ride away.

Transfer, the driver - well done, found us at the airport where we were lost. The administrator very kindly met us at night, communication through a translator on the phone, English is poor. Payment in cash, card payment did not work at that time. The room is large, heating through air conditioning, bed linen clean, kettle, hygiene products. Quiet place, to the airport 15 minutes by car, it is better to take a transfer from the hotel, otherwise you can get lost.

    Its around 30min by taxi to the location. Location wise is in the city center, there is a shopping mall opposite the property and there are a few shops surrounding it. Checkin was easy, but prepare 200yuan for safety deposit. The room is clean and spacious.
