Great, clean hotel! The family room for 4 persons was very spacious and kind of luxury. Breakfast was rich, staff is very friendly. Free parking place in front of the hotel (depends on availability) and parking garage with a small fee. Good WiFi. Quiet area.

Great place to stay in Freyburg if you have a car or a bicycle. About 30 minutes walk from the centre of town (past vineyards) and about 15 minutes uphill walk to the castle. The hotel has a good view from the restaurant terrace down onto vineyards. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were fine. The restaurant has a good balanced range of fresh food and a decent selection of local wines. The outdoor terrace is a great place to sit on a sunny day. The breakfast buffet offers a good spread of choices.

Theme rooms and a beautiful terrace on the Saale River are offered at this traditional-style hotel.

Beautiful vinyard setting. German is necessary when going. Upon arrival we were informed that there were no resturant services the following day in the evening. Which was fine as we drove to another city close by and enjoyed a dinner and wine at Bar 51.
