we all loved the big garden! Sitting under the 150 year old tree drinking wine after dinner with my family was the best experience:) You can see different kinds of birds flying by and hear them singing...it was wonderful ! Helene and Alexander were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. A lovely family running such a gem of a place :) We hope to go back someday !

Hosts, even though we did not meet on site, we’re super friendly! Apartment 1 is super spacious! Easy to walk to the center ville and the loire.

Great location. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Helped to make a reservation for us at the local restaurant. Nothing too much trouble. Very happy to have stayed there.

Very quiet and private little house. The front court becomes another room in good weather. The courtyard is also good for storing our bikes. and we had a lovely evening meal out there. Netflix was welcome. 15 minute walk to the supermarket and retaurants/takeaways if you need them. Very friendly hosts and we stayed a little longer in the morning to wait for the worst of the rain to pass. Very handy for the Loire à Velo tour without having to go into Tours or Orleans.

Great hotel in a very nice area close to the castle. Perfect stop for us that were on a road trip. Great breakfast and good service. The dinner was good as well
