The staff were amazing. Fantastic service in the restaurant and the food was excellent. When we arrived we were upgraded to a family room because the room we had booked was over the bar and Scotland was playing rugby and they were concerned that it would be too noisy. Definitely will be back.

Room was beautiful and clean, tea/coffee/chocolate and biscuits available in room, large bathroom with toiletries available, large tv and bed was very comfortable. Great night sleep. Breakfast was excellent & great choice of fresh cooked breakfast. Staff very polite and helpful. Beautiful hotel.

This pioneering young couple have taken on a massive job of returning this establishment to its former beauty. Room by massive room it’s being restored and it’s going to be amazing when they finish. We absolutely loved our stay here. Carpets, paint and the bathroom for room 9 are all almost new. The staff are all so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed dinner in the bar and breakfast in the dining room.
