I recently had the pleasure of staying at the White Swan Hotel in Halifax, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. As we were running late on the day of arrival, Emma, our host, went in and put the heating on. This made a cosy cottage even cosier. In terms of facilities it is everything you could want from a cottage, very clean, spacious, plus off street parking.

Hampton by Hilton was exactly what I needed. The room was big and furnished Scabdinavian style with Queen-size be. Lovely bedsheets and a mattress that I loved. The bedroom was a walk in shower abd a self flushing toilet. There ere mirrors in all the rooms. I loved it. Breakfast was set up to suit everyone ranging from Continental to full English, buffet-style. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Situation was in the middle of town, near restaurants, banks and shops. What more could one want?

It was a beautiful place and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We asked if we could order takeaway, and we could. We asked for an extra sheet because we get too warm with the quilt, not a problem. We got lots of ice for drinks, plates, and cutlery. I couldn't carry everything, including our takeaway, so the manager came up with me and carried some of the stuff up. Nothing was too much for them. We will definitely be back again soon.

Friendly from reception onwards , bar staff were helpful the Cleaners did an excellent job, the Lady who served us at breakfast was attentive to our needs , food was well cooked and freshly made All in all the service through out was excellent

Located in the center of Bradford, the Midland Hotel is a lovely place with character. It is an imposing old structure, in contrast to the modern mall beside it. It is also quite near several of Bradford's attractions, like the Cathedral, the fountain by the city hall, and the media museum. The room we were in was stunning combination of old and new, with a four poster bed and a nice renovated bathroom. Also, it has a lift, which was most appreciated.
