United KingdomThough a little above our normal hotel budget, we were pleased to be very impressed with everything from the initial welcome on check in to the restaurant staff very friendly, welcoming and happy service. The hotel itself is lovely, well located for swims to either beach and well furnished and decorated. Lovely and clean and quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. The restaurant was great for breakfast and we had dinner twice in the week and should have eaten here more often rather than trying other places in town. But the outstanding thing for me on this stay was the staff. Every one of them was wonderful.

We managed to get a good price with a last minute deal, the location in St Mary’s is good and we were able to check in early which was really appreciated!

Plenty of choices for breakfast so very happy with that. The location was excellent, being close to the quay for the ferry and boat trips.

Staff were all very hard working, both front of house and housekeeping. Courteous and pleasant with all interactions and queries. The central location was a great bonus as were the views from our room and terrace.
Breakfasts were excellent with a great range of options.

Beautiful building in a lovely location in St Mary’s. The staff, especially the young waiters, waitresses and bar staff were very efficient, well trained and friendly. Food was delicious.

Great location and view. Comfortable room with excellent beds. Quiet at night. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Nice restaurant with a good breakfast and dinner.

Very good location with great sea views. Comfortable bed rooms with excellent large bath and hand towels provided. Good range of toiletries, teas, biscuits etc provided in the room. Comfortable beds. Pleasant outside seating area with plenty of arm chairs.
We were allowed into our rooms earlier (about 2.30 pm) than the normal check in time (4.0 pm). This was very helpful as we wished to rest before evening dinner and have an early night before leaving promptly in the morning for flight back to Exeter.
