Well, I was very surprised at the Days Inn and will hopefully be back again in a few months. It says it’s a service station hotel so I didn’t expect much but to my surprise, it was much better than some other well known and advertised places I’ve stayed in. The bed was comfy. The room was clean, and a good size, and well looked after. Just next door is the service station where I went for something to eat for dinner and then again for breakfast before leaving. Thank you for my stay, I was well impressed.

Westgate Cottage is set in Sittingbourne, 13 km from Leeds Castle, 14 km from Chatham Train Station, as well as 16 km from Rochester Castle.

Great cottage everything there we needed lovely and cosy and wonderful host who had a bottle of wine left out for us and a cake in fridge . Would definitely recommend and hope to return again in future.

All staff were pleasant, efficient and very helpful. Had remembered we needed a ground floor room or a room near the lift, husband has mobility issues. Helpful with a taxi to town and back. Breakfast staff were brilliant.

This charming hotel is 2 miles from Canterbury and close to Dover and the Eurostar. Dating back to the 12th century, it is surrounded by picturesque hills and fruit trees.
