Superb in all respects. I have holidayed in this area twice yearly for 20 years. This is the best- set up thus far . lovely romantic setting just 500 metres from the main and 4 miles to Llangollen.( ditto Ruabon other direction) The better side of the Dee valley . BIG cottage. We will be back

Breakfast was in the dining room. More than adequate. Evening meals were also good. The beer garden overlooking the river (across the road from the hotel) was lovely. Parking was also available.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room was spacious, clean and comfy. Child friendly, cot was made available. Some traffic noise, but had a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee in the room and grandson loved the biscuits. Lovely evening meal and excellent breakfast, both served in the wine bar and use of a £6 voucher towards either meal. Free car parking at the rear.

Great place! Everything was really nice. Had a couple pints at the bar after a long drive. Nice and quiet, bed were very comfortable. Our boys loved the bunk beds. Breakfast was perfect. Wish we could have stayed another night.
