I was upgraded from a single to a double room with a view. The price then was reasonable. Great service at breakfast and reception. Very neat, renovated and clean. Quite room. Beautiful and cosy lounge and bistro. Free neat parking lot. Pretty location. It would have been nice to stay longer.

We're so happy to have found the Corriemar House, what a delightful stay. Our room on the third floor was a pleasant surprise (well worth a few stairs!) Large and comfortable, Charmingly decorated and the most exquisite views of the harbor and boats/ferries. The manager Rachael was extremely helpful and pleasant and made our later arrival check-in a breeze. Loved the convenient and beautiful walk to the town/restaurants (somehow it seemed easier than when we've stayed closer to town in the past). Also an easy short walk in the other direction to the Castle. Enjoyed the garden terrace outside with a glass watching the harbor. A restful, blissful experience. We'll definitely come back whenever we can.
