The room was nice, clean, and warm. I was glad that the room was nicely warm as the weather was cold outside and I just had dinner in another nearby hotel with my colleague (who chose to stay there), and that place was super cold, so it was definitely nice to arrive to a warm hotel room. I also appreciated that it was equipped with an iron and ironing board. I must say, that every single staff member was exceptional!!! I don't recall having such a good experience with staff ever. I was missing a converter from the EU to the UK plug and everyone did their best efforts to help me out. THANK YOU! Small things like this matter!

Skylark is exceptional value for the dollar. The hotel is near bus stops as well as the underground. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and all the linens were spotless. The bathroom was completely and totally renovated and up to date. Vera and Suk are amazing and very engaged hosts. They go very far out of their way to ensure everything during your stay is perfect period. I certainly wasn't expecting a peaceful and wonderful courtyard garden. I was also very surprised at the extensive breakfast that was offered in the morning. Hot dishes eggs, fruit, cheese, cereal etc.etc. For the price I paid I was very surprised that such a breakfast was included. I will stay there from now on, and I would not hesitate to recommend skylark to either solo or family travelers. Thanks again Vera! You are the best. And thanks for all the travel tips Suk!

It was a lovely pub hotel, the pub itself was very lovely inside and we noticed customers playing games, connect 4 and jenga. Staff were all very nice and pleasant. Our rooms was just right for us and even though it was a pub it was quite. Bed was comfy and the bath was amazing for me as we only have a shower at home
