Lovely area, great room, friendly staff. The Rose & Crown is in a lovely setting, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was a very generous continental pre-prepared for us to collect on the morning to eat in the room.

Nice breakfast, the room and garden were lovely and located in beautiful setting in the country next to a horse farm, with a great cafe just down the road where we walked and picked blackberries! It’s also close to the village and a short drive to Bath, which was amazing to visit, though it was nice to stay in a quiet home away from the noise and tourists in Bath.

The setting and heritage buildings are lovely. The rooms are well presented, the grounds were well maintained. Comfortable bed.

We found the small vinyard and the resident cat who was occupiing it! Our stay was lovely. Parking is perfect. The view from the terras is amazing. We enjoyed the drinks from the small bar, served by the friendly staff. Don't wait & push the bellbutton. The room and en-suite bathroom was large, clean and with quite a view. Towels are fluffy. We did not have breakfast or any other meal at the hotel. So no opinion. The hotel is a good startingpoint for exploring the aera. The bedrooms were good, bathroom was basic but for the price good value. We had dinner in the bar sat next to the fire and xmas tree. Food was really good and our kids actually ate everything which was a first.
